Sunny Uppal
As an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation group, Sunny’s primary practice areas include local government (municipal litigation), administrative law, land law, neighbour law, and general civil litigation. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Agricultural Land Commission, municipal councils, and regional district boards.
Sunny has represented homeowners, land developers, contractors, and local governments across British Columbia on a wide array of matters including regulatory compliance matters, permitting issues, civil lawsuits involving local governments, and challenging local government decisions.
He also has experience representing individuals in easement disputes, nuisance claims, commercial lease disputes, drainage disputes, riparian right disputes, agricultural land commission matters, and general neighbour disputes. Sunny prides himself on his ability to find creative and practical solutions to his clients’ complex legal problems.
