Shelisse Durity Wingson

Shelisse first joined McQuarrie in the Office Services department and went on to complete both her 1L and 2L summers, as well as her articles, with the firm. As an associate in McQuarrie’s Wills, Trusts and Estate litigation group, Shelisse assists clients in disputes relating to wills, estates, property, and trusts. Shelisse is committed to providing practical, strategic advice and helping clients navigate the litigation process with confidence.

Shelisse earned her Bachelors of Laws with First Class Honours from University College London in the United Kingdom. She then completed her Master of Laws (Common Law) at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.

Shelisse remains active in her community and serves as Secretary on the BC Board of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, and on the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC NCA/LLMCL Committee. Outside of the office, Shelisse enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and trying out new restaurants.
