Articling Students
At McQuarrie, we have a distinguished tradition of offering a comprehensive and hands-on articling
experience. Our program spans a broad range of legal areas and integrates personalized mentorship with
opportunities to refine practice management skills. We believe that the most effective learning occurs
through practical experience. As such, we are committed to fostering professional client service by
ensuring our students have ample opportunities for direct client interaction, from the initial consultation
through to the resolution of the matter.
We believe that the articling period should be centered on the education and professional growth of the
student. We expect our articled students to actively engage with our lawyers and consistently demonstrate
a strong commitment to cultivating effective work habits, upholding high ethical standards, and practicing
professional courtesy. While we aim to provide exposure to a diverse range of tasks, we encourage
students to take initiative in seeking work that aligns with their interests and to explore areas where they
may require further experience.
