James graduated and received his Bachelor of Laws degree (L.L.B) after completing his third year of law school at the University of Calgary.
During Law School, James volunteered with the PBSC Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program (CCDC) and with Student Legal Assistance (SLA). His also is actively involved in the community. This past year James led the PBSC Date-to-Dream project at a Siksika Nation High School. The progam seeks to break down barriers between First Nations communities and the justice sector.
James interests include being a musician, participating in basketball, golfing, biking and reading history, fiction and philosophy books
