Administrative Support Staff Positions

We currently have an opportunity for an IT Support & Technology Specialist to join our team. This position will provide assistance to the IT Manager as well as act as a trainer on various platforms of legal and desktop software and technologies. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a law firm or as a legal administrative assistant, and a passion for technology and training people.

Primary Responsibilities include

Software & Technology Specialist: Assists and coordinates the planning and implementation of various software platforms and data services, trains and sets up all new personnel on those systems, conducts training sessions on new desktop programs/software, educates employees and lawyers on current desktop programs/software, coordinates ongoing training where needed, provides legal software support for PC Law, TimeMatters, Worldox, Summation, ACL, ALF, E-convey, Divorcemate, online research platforms and other software systems as needed.

IT Support: provides help desk support, and troubleshooting for various technologies, performs audiovisual setups as needed, provides relief to the IT Manager when away.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have prior experience in the legal field or as a legal administrative assistant

We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. The Human Resources assistant will provide administrative support to our Human Resources Manager. Our ideal candidate is professional, client service focused, and has a passion for human resources and developing skills in a team environment. The successful individual will take pride in their work, be outgoing, self-motivated, team-oriented, and takes pride in providing a professional work product.

Primary Responsibilities include

Payroll Administration: assists in preparing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, enters various payroll related changes.

Benefits Administration: assists with benefit administration and benefit related questions.

Recruitment & Orientation: assists with preparing job postings, scheduling candidate interviews, reference checks, coordination of new hire process and preparing packages, training schedules and orientation tours.

Record Maintenance and Professional Development: maintains HRIS database, tracks and records employee’s accruals, maintains HR files, personnel files and data bases, coordinates professional development and memberships for both employees and lawyers.

Other Administration: respond to general inquiries regarding policies, participation in firm’s social committee and coordinating HR related events, assists HR manager with various surveys and preparation of information, as well as other tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Have a passion for learning and growing in a dynamic team environment
  • Be professional and client service orientated
  • Have a min. of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written skills
  • Possess great attention to detail
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
