Grant Hughes

Grant Hughes is a partner in our New Westminster office. His preferred areas of practice are:

• Corporate and commercial transactions.

• Employment law.

• Trust law.

• Commercial agreements.

• Corporate and commercial disputes.

Grant is a member of the Canadian Bar Association with interests in the business, law office management and employment law sections. He is a member of the B.C. Human Resources Management Association and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), a designation given by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations to those who meet specified CCHRA standards. Grant is a director of the New Westminster Foundation and honourary solicitor for the Westminster Regiment Museum Association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of New Westminster.

Grant graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1966 and was called to the B.C. Bar in 1967. He practiced law in Prince George, B.C., for 19 years before joining McQuarrie Hunter LLP in 1986.

In his free time, Grant enjoys travel, drawing and house renovating.
