Lawyer Profile Daryl J. Brown
Daryl J. Brown is an associate in our New Westminster office. His preferred areas of practice are:
Daryl is a member of several professional and business associations, including the Canadian Bar Association, the New Westminster Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He is also a founding member of Phi Delta Phi's McLaughlin Inn at UBC. Phi Delta Phi is the world's oldest legal ethics fraternity with members throughout Europe and North America. Daryl currently serves on the Board of Directors for the B.C. Safety Council promoting motorcycle safety in B.C. He is also an executive member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
Before practicing law, Daryl spent several years working in the automotive and motorcycle industries. As a long-time motorcycle rider and one-time motorcycle racer, he has a special interest in legal issues concerning motorcyclists. Daryl received a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 1993 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2003. Daryl articled with McQuarrie Hunter LLP before being called to the B.C. Bar in May 2004.
In his free time, Daryl enjoys volunteering in the community, fly fishing on the interior lakes and riding motorcycles throughout the country.
